Send us to Haiti, help us sell 75 shirts!
Our first goal is sell 75 shirts and raise about $2,000 to send Colin and Todd to a mission based in LaCroix Haiti. With actually sending physical beings to Haiti, instead of the standard donations of moneys, we will be able to get more bang for our buck! Not only will our help touch the lives of the needy, but we will also get to experience that exchange of love first hand. It may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but this has to start somewhere. Dream big, start small, and at least try.
We will be documenting the travels as well as producing some short promotional films for The LaCroix Child Sponsorship Program. This program provides a way for children, who would otherwise be denied an education, to go to school. As support increases, the number of children attending school increases also. Pastor Pierre and staff would like to see all children in Haiti, especially those in LaCroix, attend school. This program provides a way to break the cycle of poverty by giving the children an education and hope for the future. Haiti’s population is about 8.5 million. The unemployment rate is 85%. Only 15% of school-aged children are able to go to school.
